Every air-conditioner comes equipped with an evaporator that cools the air while removing moisture. The evaporator, in turn, converts the moisture into a liquid state. The evaporator contains a drain pan far the condensate (a result of warm and cold air mixing), discharging it through a special hose. However, the problem with evaporators is that they are embedded deep into a car, most often at its lowest point, under the dashboard, which is per se a hard-to-reach, isolated, dark and humid place deprived oj air-flow.
An environment such as that is a breeding ground far fungi, bacteria, mould and other microbes with potential adverse health effects.

An ultrasonic cell with a frequency of 1.7 MHz transforms the liquid into small droplets of <5 micron diameter. This vapour is blown through the outlet tube. Ultrasonic cleaning is achieved by introducing the vehicle A/C disinfection liquid onto the surface of the piezoelectric crystal that vibrates at a very high frequency (ultrasound frequency), creating a fog that rises above the ultrasound machine. This fog is absorbed by the air circulating in a closed circuit in the vehicle interior, reaching all the places to be cleaned (in particular the A/C evaporator), where it eliminates viruses, fungi and bacteria, as well as odours throughout the vehicle.
